Good'un mate!

From far and wide the guests arrived,
Come time for group shots and the weather just dived,
Rain and wind, but in the pub were all the guests,
Rebecca and Nick's wedding was the best, mate...

More pics to come for Charlotte and Ian's big day :)
And Happy Diwali to everyone who celebrates it. This weekend I'll be photographing an Indian wedding ... yay!

Oh I do like to be ...

Cheers to Sera, the band manager, who got me down to Brighton to photograph a very cool bunch of guys, who are making their way in the musical world. The recording studio was one of these places that used to be a huge industrial building and has now turned arty, with loads of creative people - umm - hard at work. Seems a bit like heaven to me.

After the shoot I went to the beach, nearly got blown away, was surprised how closed everything was (guess is it winter time now), got my lens filter covered in sea salt and when asking at a cafe for a cloth to clean it with, I found out the barman was into photography, and there started an hour of indepth conversation on, wait for it ... white balance.

... beside the sea!

Great, great people

"After all of 30 seconds of discussion, we have agreed that we'd love you to photograph our wedding on 18th October. Booking form in the post."
Months later, I admit to still having their text saved on my phone and having no plans to delete it soon. When I met Denise and Neil we just, as they put it, clicked!

After the wedding they seemed more concerned that I'd had fun at their wedding than finding out when they would see their photos ... it warms your heart when you meet genuine people like the two of them!
Today whilst post-processing their photos, I thoroughly enjoying taking regular intervals to read Neil's poetry.... awesome, awesome, awesome.

See you both when you're back from honeymoon!

Back to it!

Yay, I'm back in Berkshire now!

Three weeks in Kent and I'm super relaxed. Monday was fun and varied ... I had breakfast with this lovely lady - Jennifer Gough-Cooper, a proper farmhouse lunch at this amaazing place, the Hop Shop, with the owners and their son, who is getting into wildlife photography in the deserts of Africa. Afterwards I was sipping smoothies with ladies and snapping shots of their lively kids. And finally an evening with me mate Darren. So, I like my life :)

Back to work now! This weekend it's a really cool couple getting married in a grand location, a gallery in Richmond. And then an edgy band photoshoot in Brighton, woohoo!

Everyone, smile!

Going back a few weeks ... this very sweet lady tied the knot at the Regency Hotel. She is a friend of my Aunt, a school teacher, and one of those people that you want to give a big hug to everytime you see them. She was loving her wedding day and having all her family and friends about. So was I ....
